On 6th November 2021 family, friends and comrades came together in Gibberd Garden to plant a tree in Stan's memory.  The sun came out on this winter's day.  There were many heartfelt speeches reflecting the high regard and respect in which Stan was held.  The photos are of his widow Sandra and Mike Danvers Chair of the Gibberd Garden Trust planting the Copper Beech Tree which appropriately will have beautiful red leaves.
