As we remember you today, a year after you left us, I read the final page of your book: "In quest of a Fairer Society". You wrote "I am convinced that the British and the people of the world as a whole will have to avoid large scale wars and introduce a fairer and more egalitarian distribution of the world's wealth if civilisation is to survive". How sad you would be with the current situation.
