Stan fought ferociously until the end for a fairer society. Whenever I needed any advice, he was always there and eager to help. Stan was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge and he inspired me and so many of my friends in the Labour Party to continue to fight for socialism. He was the soul of Harlow Labour. The Labour movement and Harlow has lost a a champion of the people - a hero. I will miss him very much. Thinking of Sandra & family at this very sad time. Laura McAlpine, Omid & Frank Asghari x
